Description
An original hand-painted watercolor artwork by Katsumi, professionally printed for your home.
Rainbow Lotus: White light holds a rainbow inside it, but you only see it when something splits it apart, like a raindrop. That’s the idea I wanted this piece to hold.
From far away, this lotus looks white. Up close, each petal carries soft shades of blue, pink and yellow, the same light, just revealed.
Behind the flower, a cool color on one side and a warm one on the other meet in the middle, while pearl-like drops of light float around it, each one catching a little of that light.
Some things only reveal themselves in stillness.
Please note: Colors may vary slightly depending on your monitor. Different sizes have different aspect ratios, so some cropping may occur. Frame is not included.
Because each print is made to order, returns and exchanges are not accepted. If your order arrives damaged or has a printing or manufacturing defect, please contact me and I will be happy to help.
